Wadsworth Atheneum
On Friday, May 6th I took a trip to the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford. My purpose was to go there, find a painting or sculpture which I figured would be easy to write about for my extra credit paper for my Art History class and then leave right after. I wasn't planning on staying there for a while, however, once I got there I found it really interesting and intriguing to go through every floor and check out the different pieces of work from different styles of art. Some were really amazing and inspiring, others were confusing to decipher but interesting in their own way. My favorite was the contemporary art room, just because that's my style, but a lot of the other rooms were cool. The European and American Art are definitely worth looking at too! Oh and they're doing renovations/ I think adding on, so that'd be good to check out when they're finished! So if you're bored one day and like museums, you should visit, it's only 5$ with a student ID
